From September 15 in the Museum of live butterflies "The Tropical Paradise" in St. Petersburg the exhibition of children drawings "The Magic Transformations of Butterfly" prepared as part of Russian Geographical Society programme "Education by wildlife" will take place.

The exhibition features 700 works by children from 25 countries. Contact with live butterflies produces bright positive emotions for children since each child dream is to put huge butterfly from Amazon jungle at his hand and whisper a wish to Blue Morpho butterfly with wings of sky-blue colour.

In three cozy rooms of the museum huge live butterflies from four continents flit freely.

The collection of tropical beauties is got renewed weekly. Daily at 11:30 and 18:30 newborn butterflies are released from the "maternity home" (insectarium). One may see the birth of a butterfly emerging from pupa, the first flight of the butterfly and huge diversity of pupae.
